GENERAL MANAGER (NEW POSITION)

ENERGY COMMUNITIES TIPPERARY COOPERATIVE (ECTC) is seeking a GENERAL
MANAGER TO COORDINATE AND LEAD OUR mission of the Energy Transition in
the service of local communities.

_The candidate will be joining the organisation at an exciting time,
as we build up a team to deliver on our mission of making the energy
transition benefit our member communities. As our General Manager, you
will have a key role in building capacity with both staff and
contracted parties to expand our offering in member communities, as a
One Stop Shop delivering innovative energy renovation and generation
projects. You will coordinate the consolidation of our unique business
model of community-led energy renovation, and lead our EU LIfe
OSR-Coop Project (One Stop Renovation Coop) together with 2 other
pioneering citizen-led renovation cooperatives from Normandy and
Belgium, and the European Federation of Energy Cooperatives,
RESCoop.eu_

not-for-profit company, whose vision is to mobilise communities in
Tipperary, and neighbouring counties, to create local employment and
community benefit through reducing their carbon footprint and

Clonoulty/Rossmore, and Loughmore/Castleiney.

At board level, we operate on the basis of consensus and are committed

Communities Scheme and Deep Retrofit Scheme. ECTC won the SEAI Best

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

* Qualification/Degree in Business, Energy, OR related field AND/OR
Equivalent Prior Learning in experience.
* Experience in project/financial management an advantage
* Experience in working in Cooperative, Social Enterprise or
Community Development sector.
* Experience and understanding of Social Enterprise/Cooperative
Business and its difference relative to other business forms,
including funding and staffing structures.
* Good communication and reporting skills
* Experience in leading a remote workforce and in using online
collaboration platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Microsoft **Apply on

* Full Clean Drivers Licence an advantage
